Daniel Hart

Daniel Hart is an actor, singer/songwriter, with a wealth of stage, screen and recording experience, for which he has received serious critical acclaim.

He graduated from Drama Centre London, winning a Carleton Hobbs BBC Radio 4 Award, Anthony Hopkins remarking, that his third year performance was the most focused he had ever seen. This led to a wealth of recording experience at BBC Radio 4, with drama and poetry productions including a run on 'Poetry Please'.

His work for BBC Television has also been highly diverse, ranging from period drama, in 'Cambridge Spies' and 'Vanity Fair', to his performance as Bob Dylan in the sitcom 'Love Soup', for which he wrote the music. Daniel made his his theatrical debut playing the role of Michael Darling in 'Peter Pan' at The Royal National Theatre and returned there again for 'The Mandate'. Opposite the late Corin Redgrave in 'The Browning Version' The Daily Telegraph called his performance "... astonishingly convincing ..." and in 'The Destiny Of Me', which won Time Out Number One Critics Choice, he received a glowing report from The Observer "... Hart is astounding ..."

Daniel is often to be found in a co-production role, most notably devising the 'Shakespeare Rocks!' workshop, taking five fellow performers to Moscow, to bring Shakespeare's text to life for children at Unesco schools. He is currently in production on The 'Runescape' expo at Vinopolis.
